I work with the top quality artist materials and use pastels and coloured pencils for my coloured drawings and graphite, charcoal and carbon pencils for my greyscale drawings.
I pride myself on being able to capture the very essence of my subjects especially your pets with being able to really bring them to life on paper and capture that fur and the glossy look in the eyes and that wet nose.

How Mystics Fine Art Started
As someone who grew up with animals I have always been a big animal lover. My first inspiration for my drawings at a young age was my first cat. Ever since I could hold a pencil I have been drawing animals from cats to dogs to dragons ( I went through a big dragon stage) to wildlife and then back to pets again animals have always been my biggest inspiration.
During school my biggest dream was to become a full time artist. I had a dream back then to work for Disney and do animation so once I finished school I took a course in Animation and character design.
When I first got started doing commissions I was drawing my own pets and posting them on Facebook and I had so many people enquire about a drawing of their own pets and it all took off from there. Now about 10 years later from then I am drawing pets full time. I never would have imagined getting this far with my artwork.
Now I have drawn over 200 pets for people all over New Zealand and even have my work over the world now too!
