Needle Felted Pets
Something new I have started to teach myself is needle felting realistic animals. With my drawings I love to create the realism where it seems the animals are ready to jump off the page and if you could just touch them you would be able to feel their soft fur and wet nose. And with that I have wanted to create artwork that you can literally touch and hold in your hand and feel the softness of that fur. And that is why I have started my journey of needle felting, as along with my drawings I would love to give my clients the option to also have their beloved pets felted in either a full body figure or just a head piece.
I will be using the best materials for these including NZ Corriedale wool, painting and sculpting my own noses, eyes, mouth, tongue and paw pads ect.
These will take me at least 2 - 3 weeks for a head and 5 - 6 for a full body felt.
Prices will start from $150 for an 11cm head and from $500 for a full body felt. Accessories can also be added like a collar, toys etc for an added fee. A deposit of 50% (half) will be required upon booking in.

Photos for these need to be clear and of different angles of your pet, preferably a front facing view, a side on view, and a behind view this is especially important for full body felts and must show any special markings you want included.
